Terms of Service

Last updated: April 30, 2026

These Terms explain the rules for using Legion, including accounts, AI usage, developer integrations, payments, credits, billing, and payouts.

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Legion websites, dashboards, APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, MCP tools, app registration features, payment features, and Legion-powered AI services. By creating an account, using Legion, registering an app, making a payment, or accessing a Legion-powered service, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Legion on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Legion Services

Legion provides pay-as-you-go AI infrastructure, including user wallets, usage-based billing, app authorization, model access, developer tools, app registration, chat experiences, documentation, and payout-related features.

Legion may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be experimental, limited, or dependent on third-party providers.

Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, tokens, API keys, and authorized sessions.

You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity from apps, users, or systems that you authorize. Notify Legion promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

Payments, Credits, and Billing

Legion may charge for AI usage, credits, monthly usage, platform-funded calls, payment method setup, and related paid features. Prices, model availability, usage calculations, and billing rules may vary by feature and may change over time.

Charges are generally based on usage records such as API calls, model selections, tokens, media generation, service costs, wallet activity, and other metered events. You are responsible for reviewing your usage and maintaining a valid payment method where required.

Credits may be used only within Legion unless we state otherwise. Credits are not bank deposits, do not earn interest, and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.

Payments and saved payment methods are processed by Stripe or other payment processors. By using paid features, you authorize Legion and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees, taxes, failed payment retries, and other amounts due.

Refunds and Cancellations

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Legion may issue refunds or credits at its discretion, including for billing errors, duplicate charges, or service issues.

You may stop using paid features at any time. Stopping use does not automatically cancel amounts already incurred, pending invoices, payment obligations, or obligations tied to usage that occurred before cancellation.

Developer and App Owner Terms

Developers and app owners may register apps, integrate Legion SDKs or APIs, authorize users, configure AI features, and receive eligible usage-based earnings or payouts where available.

You are responsible for your apps, app content, user disclosures, support, configuration, security, and compliance with laws. You must not misrepresent your app, manipulate billing, evade usage tracking, interfere with Legion systems, or use Legion to collect payments for prohibited activity.

Payouts, affiliate balances, partner balances, and developer revenue shares may be subject to thresholds, verification, fraud review, payment processor requirements, chargebacks, refunds, disputes, taxes, and compliance checks.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Legion for illegal activity, fraud, abuse, harassment, malware, credential theft, unauthorized scraping, spam, security attacks, payment abuse, sanctions violations, intellectual property infringement, or attempts to bypass usage limits, authentication, billing, rate limits, or safety controls.

You may not overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with Legion, its infrastructure, or its providers except as permitted by law or a written agreement with Legion.

Content and AI Outputs

You are responsible for prompts, files, context, messages, app content, instructions, generated outputs, and other materials you submit or make available through Legion.

You retain ownership of your content, but grant Legion the rights needed to host, process, transmit, analyze, and display it to provide, secure, bill, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, unsafe, or unsuitable for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them. Legion is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, safety, or other expert advice.

Third-Party Services

Legion relies on third-party services including payment processors, authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics and monitoring tools, email services, AI model providers, infrastructure vendors, and developer platforms.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Legion is not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, pricing, decisions, or processing except as required by law.

Privacy

Legion handles personal information as described in the Privacy Policy at /privacy. By using Legion, you acknowledge that Legion may process information as described there.

Intellectual Property

Legion and its licensors own the Legion platform, software, APIs, SDKs, documentation, designs, trademarks, logos, and other service materials. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Legion intellectual property to you.

Subject to these Terms, Legion grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose.

Suspension and Termination

Legion may suspend or terminate access to all or part of the service if we believe you violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, failed to pay amounts due, abused the service, or used Legion in a way that may harm users, developers, Legion, or third parties.

After termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will continue to apply, including payment obligations, intellectual property terms, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms.

Disclaimers

Legion is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legion disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Legion does not guarantee that any AI model, output, integration, payout, app, or third-party service will meet your requirements or remain available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legion will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or substitute services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Legion total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to Legion for the service giving rise to the claim during the three months before the claim arose or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Legion from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, apps, integrations, use of Legion, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

Changes to These Terms

Legion may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date. Continued use of Legion after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
